Megan Smith started with Roofer Chicks back in 2017. She’s been here a long time and seen a lot of things. Prior to coming to work here, she worked for a high-end flooring installer in the Austin area. Due to a love interest, she ended up moving to New Braunfels and the commute was killing her. She saw an ad for Roofer Chicks, encouraging females to apply. The next day she noticed our billboard and THEN a truck drove in front of her. She took it as a sign, and we are so glad she did!
Megan grew up in Bell City, LA – the oldest in a family of four. This entire family of hers can cook some of the best food you’ve ever put in your mouth, and is the main reason all of our office parties are potluck. Her mom makes a crawfish linguini that is to die for.
Megan is a graduate of Texas A&M, where she was in the Corps of Cadets. If you don’t know anything about that, you should for sure look it up. It’s pretty amazing and quite an honor. Megan is short in stature, but certainly a force to be reckoned with. She is extremely knowledgeable about the roofing industry, soaking it all up like a sponge since 2017 – from roof colors to insurance supplementation, she knows it all. Megan is actually our working sales manager and trains all of our new hires in the sales department. She is Ami’s right hand, and Ami doesn’t know how she’d ever live without her!
Megan is engaged to be married to Adrian Medina, another member of our sales team, and a cousin to Courtney Rion, yet another sales person at Roofer Chicks. Adrian and Megan currently have 3 dogs and 2 cats. A cat named Frank and one named Lambert. Their dogs are Freya a Tibetan Mastiff, Tommy – a Black Mouth Cur, and Rocky – a very old crotchety Weiner Dog. Last year they had to put down their beloved American Bull dog, Bear, and that was really hard on everyone. Megan is definitely an animal lover and her favorite part of her job is meeting homeowners and their own fur animals.
